Biryani Tales, specializes in Biryanis from different parts of India . Biryani is a rice based delicacy and has been an integral part of Indian diet since its origin on this land and may well be soon declared as a national dish.

Biryani to Indians is like salmon to white people. We just can’t have enough of it ! So we as a country now have more than 40 types of biryanis, eaten in different regions of the country. They differ in cooking methods, side serving, protein choice, & most importantly the cooking time and the choice of rice.

How it arrived in India has a lot of legendary stories. Some say it was an inspired dish from the Middle-East while the others say Mumtaz Mahal was responsible for this dish. Wherever its origins may lie, today biryani has evolved to be a favorite and has been incorporated into the majority of cuisines of the country.

There are up to almost 40 known varieties of biryani in India. Biryani Tales brings to you a few of these in their closest version possible.
